Water Pitcher Replacement Filter This filter replaces the filter in the Seychelle 1 gallon Pure Water Pitcher. The filter provides up to 150 gallons of filtered water. This advanced Seychelle ionic absorption microfiltration system can be used on any type of water source except for salt water, including tap water, rainwater, rivers, and lakes. This filter is perfect for camping and RV trips and is also great to have on hand at home for emergencies. The micro-porous body of the filter contains thousands of interconnected omni-directional pores that are 2 microns in size. Filters have 3 proprietary media impregnated within that provide that greatest possible reduction of harmful contaminants, including pathogens (like Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and other cysts and spores), toxic chemicals (Trihalomethanes, PCBs, PCEs, detergents, and pesticides), dissolved solids (including heavy metals like aluminum, asbestos, cadmium, chromium 6, copper, lead, arsenic, and mercury), radiological contaminants like Radon 222, particulates (silt, sediment, etc.), and even unpleasant taste, odors, and cloudiness.
