Xcaper Fire Kit The Xcaper Fire Kit will keep you prepared for a fire at home, work, or on the go. The kit includes a mask for safe breathing, goggles for eye protection, an LED light, and whistle. All items fit in a convenient pouch that is 2” wide when filled with all items, zips on top, and has Velcro straps on the back for easy attachments to belts. With this kit you can stay protected in any fire situation for safe evacuation. The Xcaper Fire Mask protects you in a fire by absorbing hazardous toxins like harmful gases and particulates as small as 3/10 of a micron as you breathe, including carbon monoxide, acrolein, hydrogen cyanide, nitrogen dioxide, nitrogen monoxide, water-soluble gases (anhydrites), and petrochemical fumes—nearly 100% of particulate matter common to fire smoke. The mask has a moisturizing agent (an all natural plant extract) that makes the mask feel damp to the touch and traps particulate matter. The mask is also filled with negatively charged polystyrene beads, allowing it to absorb the dangerous gases, vapors, and chemical-coated particulates within smoke to prevent suffocation, protect the throat and lungs, and provide safe, easy breathing in fire situations. This mask is effective for a minimum of 20–30 minutes, or longer depending on the fire conditions. It is one size fits all and is not reusable. As long as the mask covers the nose and mouth, it will filter effectively even if worn upside down or backwards.
